My new clothing material obsession: neoprene. You’ve been seeing it everywhere! Swimsuits, sweaters, sweatpants, shirts, sweatshirts and more! Its texture is very comfortable to wear, its almost water-proof, it always looks so clean and dapper, plus it never wrinkles!

Time to start on hoarding on some clothes with this material.

Finally, after such a long hiatus, I’m BACK with a new look! My version of the off-duty look. Finally had some time to waste

The past few months have been very busy. I’ve been doing a ton of commuting to and from castings and VTRs, doing shoots and campaigns for my One Mega Group family, fulfilling my prize as Hana Shampoo No Filter Beauty Ambassador and I even landed a role in a TVC!

All of which I would blog about if I had the time and the right emotions to do so ha!

At the same time, I celebrated my birthday, which means I’m already 21. An age where I think I’ll be mature and working, but still I’m in my immature waiting phase, LOL.

Don’t want to elaborate it, but it just means that I’m not doing the things I really want to be doing at this age. But I guess I should really just stay strong.

Anyway, this crop shirt I got from Choies, totally reminded me what kind of girl who I want to be. Well, not someone who bites back (I think that would be weird, or naught, IDK) haha! But someone who is strong enough to fight.

I’ve been obsessing about urban clothing lately and now I’m so into Statement/Printed items nowadays! Shirts, hats, jewelry, even bags! I can’t wait to find and search for more captions like these that can show everyone how I’m feeling even I’m not talking!

I’m pretty timid and I’m not that really good at opening topics, so I think shirts like this are awesome conversation starters. Specially for girls!

And I think they’re too cute and simple, you can pair it with almost anything! the perfect casual shirt I must say.

Paired it with a black pleated skirt which is coming back as a trend. I swear, clothes that my mom used to wear just keeps coming back from the “so last year” to “so this season”.

Pleats are so cool right now, it makes me feel like I’m a bad-ass or something, hence the poses. But really, don’t you think this skirt from ROMWE is too cute and sexy to resist?

One last flirty look for the summer! Still following the off-shoulder trend with white high waist pants and denim this time!

i love that this look is just so carefree and fun and cute. Too bad I only got to wear my summer outfits when it’s already been raining. I’m such a lazy follower when it comes to season trends.

Anyway, can’t wait for it to freezing cold soon so I can bring out my coats and jackets.

This was taken yesterday after a shoot, hence the makeup. Wish I could always do a full on gyaru makeup like this for all of my looks. But I just don’t have the time, since I’m always on the go and I only apply my makeup when I’m already in the car. I’m such a slow person in the morning that I only have time for bath haa.

So here’s a very simple look, but the dress makes it so much more interesting. I love that I can wear this dress almost any day and I will just look classy and elegant. Unlike the other mesh items on trend nowadays, this one’s not too revealing. Go buy this dress HERE!

You may be thinking, sweat pants in public? No way! But with the popularity of it increasing, seeing it in many models’ off duty looks, with top models like Cara Delevingne sporting the look, you’d really want to give it a try.

Wearing my new favorite leather jacket from ROMWE. It would make any outfit instantly rock chic. And nothing says rock more than leather and studs - also present in my new boots.

It’s my first time to try ROMWE footwear and I find it very durable and comfortable to wear.

During my teenage years, I rarely wear blazers or coats. I use to hate them. And being in a tropical country, it just wasn’t a staple thing to have.

But now that I’m already 20, I started to experiment more with my style. I wanted to be chic, classy and more creative. And seeing that my fashion icon Olivia Palermo sporting tons of blazers and coats, I just couldn’t say no. I had to try it.

In this look, I’m wearing a beige tweed blazer, a peplum top, pearl necklace, metallic pants and leopard boots. I know that it may seem too covered or overly styled, but for me, I think this whole look works!

It’s perfect during the day, if you’re going to work, or for a special meeting, then you can loose the blazer if you’re going out for the night. I think this look will definitely be an option if I were to go to Paris or Rome.

Girls of this generation all have something in common. We all like to dress up. We experiment with different pieces and we style it base on how we feel, the occasion and of course based on our personality.

But we girls sometimes forget the importance of accessories. For today’s look I wore a casual top over a skater skirt. These pieces are very simple on its own, but with the right accessories, it could turn from simple to fab!

When you want to look glam, gold accessories are a must. They’re versatile, classy and sparkly. If our look was an ice cream, the gold accessories would be the cherry on top of it.

Just look at how the gold necklace, bracelet and the metallic heels made these casual pieces stand out. Now your casual clothes isn’t just for a lazy day, now it can be for the weekend!

I love the 90s and every memory of it. Well because of the fashion trends and the fact that I’m a 90s baby.

So, I couldn’t be any happier by the 90s fashion comeback. From denim to leather, midriff, maxis, plaid and my ultimate fave - the overalls, all this trend are coming back with a revenge.

What also trended during the 90s is the grunge - which is totally my style. A totally comfy look with that rockstar vibe.

Today’s look is inspired from the 90s. Featuring the crop top, leather jacket and high-waist shorts.

If I were to style a look on a budget, I would probably choose this style. Everything I’m wearing for this look is either from a thrift shop or from a bargain shop.

Crop tops, midriffs, bustiers, they’re sexy as hell. And with girls like me that’s skinny, midriffs are really flattering. They can look classy, sweet, edgy and playful. A very versatile piece indeed.

Crop tops may be a little intimidating at first. So if you’re going to wear one, a high-waist shorts is just the perfect choice. It cuts your tummy making your midriff even more curvier. Plus it shows off an illusion of longer legs.

The top and shorts are a a little bit revealing, so I toned down the look with a rockin’ leather jacket, making the look more 90s, raw and edgy.

And since I’m lovin the 90s, I’ll make sure to wear the other trends of the 90s on my next look. Til then! - Ruth

Been obsessed with skirts lately, and here are just some of the looks I styled that’s perfect for every occasion!

Skater skirts are casual and comfortable, they’re light, flirty, sweet and are amazingly cheap! I believe girls can’t have too many skater skirts. They’re so basic and functional, it’s really easy to mix and match.

This look is very classic, very Hollywood glam. Black and white ensemble paired with bold red lips. I always love the classic look (that all reminds us of Audrey Hep) and obviously, the blanc et noir combination.

If the first look is more on the classy side, this look is more edgy and rugged. People might think this look is too much effort to wear but actually it’s the cutest laziest style ever. Cause you really can’t go wrong with sneaker wedges. It adds height, it doesn’t give you pain the heels does plus it can complement so many style you can ever imagine!

Got this skater skirt on sale for only 250 pesos but its quality is too high for it’s worth. I bought it from a trunk sale at Daang Hari and if I get to visit them again, I’ll definitely buy another one in a different color.

I use to be so afraid to wear colors but I think now, I’m more experimental. I’m just living my life to the fullest. Trying out every trend there is while finding my true style along the way.

I’m actually at a time right now where I just want to be alon and just re-evaluate my individuality. My style, my purpose, my dream, just everything.

I’ve actually been though so many challenges lately. Things that really took toll in my confidence and faith. But I think these boulders just made me even more stronger, smarter, and maybe even prettier. Don’t you think? Or it’s just that I’m better at putting my makeup? haha

Anyway I’ll be updating my makeup routine soon and it will be a great treat to Korean fans out there ‘cause I’ll be creating an all Etude House products’ makeup tutorial!
