Another chic black and white outfit using my new favorite leather bag from Jellybean. Just one of the items I bought when I went on a shopping spree with them. Which you can read all about here.

About the title, have you heard about Jessica Jung’s upcoming brand Blanc? I bet it’s something black and white enthusiast and kpop fans like me would anticipate about. I can’t wait to see all the chic pieces she will be releasing. I know she won’t go wrong ‘cause.. you know she’s Jessica, and she’s pretty much on top of her fashion game. She makes black and white so modern and sexy. Just google her airport outfits, haha!

Me, being a big fan of monochrome looks, I think there’s just something really cool about wearing black and white. You wear something so simple that it just makes who you are stand out.

Finally, after such a long hiatus, I’m BACK with a new look! My version of the off-duty look. Finally had some time to waste

The past few months have been very busy. I’ve been doing a ton of commuting to and from castings and VTRs, doing shoots and campaigns for my One Mega Group family, fulfilling my prize as Hana Shampoo No Filter Beauty Ambassador and I even landed a role in a TVC!

All of which I would blog about if I had the time and the right emotions to do so ha!

At the same time, I celebrated my birthday, which means I’m already 21. An age where I think I’ll be mature and working, but still I’m in my immature waiting phase, LOL.

Don’t want to elaborate it, but it just means that I’m not doing the things I really want to be doing at this age. But I guess I should really just stay strong.

Anyway, this crop shirt I got from Choies, totally reminded me what kind of girl who I want to be. Well, not someone who bites back (I think that would be weird, or naught, IDK) haha! But someone who is strong enough to fight.

I’ve been obsessing about urban clothing lately and now I’m so into Statement/Printed items nowadays! Shirts, hats, jewelry, even bags! I can’t wait to find and search for more captions like these that can show everyone how I’m feeling even I’m not talking!

I’m pretty timid and I’m not that really good at opening topics, so I think shirts like this are awesome conversation starters. Specially for girls!

And I think they’re too cute and simple, you can pair it with almost anything! the perfect casual shirt I must say.

Paired it with a black pleated skirt which is coming back as a trend. I swear, clothes that my mom used to wear just keeps coming back from the “so last year” to “so this season”.

Pleats are so cool right now, it makes me feel like I’m a bad-ass or something, hence the poses. But really, don’t you think this skirt from ROMWE is too cute and sexy to resist?

With all the Mr. Mr. hype going on, (I’m streaming the SNSD MV right now!) I recently had this fascination with androgynous looks. It’s a very simple interpretation of their theme but its the same concept. Who new that button downs and skinny pants can look so sexy?

But being pro black white and all that, I try to find ways to change my bland basic style by adding prints. I think bottom prints are a great alternative to your best friend skinny pants, and stripes/border prints are still all the rave right now.

I’ve been seeing a lot of border fitted tops on japanese magazines and while I’m on my path to looking for the perfect one, I’m settling for border pants instead. This look is a little bit casual but I think these pointy heels greatly affect the look. Don’t you think?

Got these heels from Choies. I love how they’re the perfect mix of casual and glam. The low heels makes it the perfect day-to-night shoes, which makes it my current fave. You’ll be seeing lots of my future looks wearing this one and I will also get my hands on different colors but same style!

Wearing my new favorite leather jacket from ROMWE. It would make any outfit instantly rock chic. And nothing says rock more than leather and studs - also present in my new boots.

It’s my first time to try ROMWE footwear and I find it very durable and comfortable to wear.

Another basic black, white and gold look from me. I don’t know why I’m obsessed with this mix but it’s just to classy and chic it’s too hard not to stick with it.

This acne sweatshirt was the item I chose when Sheinside asked me if I can cooperate with them. I have been a fan of Sheinside ever since but I don’t have enough followers to apply for their blogger program so I was very ecstatic when I received an email from them. This was the first item I ever received from Sheinside and I tell you, I’ve fallen in love with this sweatshirt.

I actually saw this sweatshirt first on the Sheinside website. Then I started seeing it in street style snaps on japanese mags (Vivi 2-14 issue). So I started searching for inspirations on how to wear it and I saw Xiao Wen Ju - just one of the many asian top models and fashion icons I’m crazy about, wearing it during fashion week! And that’s when I knew I need to have this sweatshirt.

And speaking of fashion week, I’ve been so obsessed with the recent Fall Winter 2014 shows, I think I’m switching up my seasons! In my mind it’s still too chilly to wear short skirts and midribs! When everyone’s to hot to even wear anything, here I am all covered up, ha! Maybe it’s the cold summer nights.

I describe my style as “Glam Rocker Chic”. Glam in sort of a way that a look is crisp, dapper and something that can work from day to night. Rocker cause I always wear what I want, regardless of the brand or the trend. Hmm, I always choose pieces that makes me feel like a rock star. So basically, I’m drawn towards embellishments like studs, glitters, sequins, leather, metallics, you know, all kinds of that stuff. But at the same time chic, cause I’m biased toward basic silhouettes in black and white, and mostly darker shades.

This is what I want to portray with my style. Although this look may seem to simple, or that it may show way to skin, the proper attitude and the classic accessories tones down and at the same time glam this look.

These metallic shorts are to die for! Not only that it’s the perfect shade of gold IMO, it’s the most versatile bottom there is! You could wear it under a sweater or a casual button down for a day look. And wear it with high heels, leather jacket and bustier for night!

It is also super affordable. I bought from one of my favorite shops, that sells the trendiest clothes from where I am, Tees n Things.

This look may seem like it’s worth like a thousand bucks, (Because of the gold and everything) this whole look costs less than 2000! Especially this shoes. This boots are a steal! I bought it from a thrift shop around 400 pesos, and they’re one of my most favorite pair up to date!

I know very well that I don’t have the perfect body. I’m actually super slim. But that doesn’t stop me from wearing what I want to.

From all the trends that has been coming out right now, I have a very special love for this item – the crop top.

Crop tops makes me show my only curve – my waist line. Haha! So its a definite yes for me. Well, this is really how I usually style myself. Trendy and rock chic. Trendy, ’cause I’m a big fan of the fashion industry and I am very much well aware of the trends. Rock, ’cause I wear anything that makes me feel like a rockstar. And chic, ’cause I’m biased towards basic silhouettes of black, white and gray.

In this look, I’m wearing a printed bomber jacket over a gray crop top, leather shorts and sneaker wedges. I never really opted for accessories ’cause I think the attitude is just what it really needs.

To continue my black and white party series, here’s another version of a black and white ruched tube dress. I wore the same rocker bracelets from my last look and paired it with a black and gold bubble necklace.

I wore these awesome thrifted black booties to make the look more casual, rebel and comfortable. Can you imagine, I bought these boots for only 500 pesos? Haha! Never underestimate the things you find at ukay ukays.

As I always say it, it’s not about the brands. As Ralph Lauren says it, “Fashion is not necessarily about labels. It’s not about brands. It’s about something else that comes from within you.”
